You Were Lied To Before You Even Started
The truth is — most traders were lied to before they placed even one trade. Not by one person. By many people. By social media. By YouTube. By Instagram. By TikTok.
By people who made trading look like something it is not.
You saw the screenshots. You know what I am talking about. Someone posting: “I made $2000 this month just from trading!” You saw the car. The watch. The laptop on the beach. The hotel room that looks like it costs more per night than your monthly salary.
And that person — they look relaxed. They look free. Like they have no boss. No alarm clock. No stress in their life.
And something inside you said: I want that. I can do that too. That can be me.
So you opened an account. You deposited money. Maybe $150. Maybe $300. Maybe $500. You were excited. You were ready. You thought — this is my way out.
I understand that feeling. I really do. But I need to tell you what is really happening. Because nobody else will.

The Pressure Nobody Talks About
I need you to hear me on this one.
Many traders come to trading with heavy pressure already sitting on their shoulders. Heavy pressure. The kind that makes it hard to breathe.
They are thinking:
- “Rent is due at the end of the month. This money must work.”
- “I have no other income right now. Trading is my only plan.”
- “School fees are coming. I need to grow this fast.”
- “If I lose this money — I am in serious trouble.”
You see? You came into trading already scared. Already desperate. Already in survival mode.
And I need you to understand something very important. Very important. That pressure — that fear sitting on your chest — that is not just a small problem. That is THE problem. That is what destroys accounts before the market even gets involved.
This thing is killing many traders. Many traders.
A trader who is scared to lose cannot make good decisions. Cannot. It is not possible. Fear makes you close winning trades too early. Fear makes you hold losing trades too long. Fear makes you enter bad trades because you feel like time is running out. You see what I am saying?
What Those Posts Are Not Showing You
Those people posting big wins? They are not showing you the 8 months of losses that came before that one good month. They are not showing you the blown accounts. The sleepless nights. The arguments at home. The days they wanted to quit everything.
They show you the trophy. They never show you the training.
They show you the win. They never show you the hundreds of losses that built the skill to get that win.
And you — you are sitting there comparing your first month to their fifth year. That is not fair to yourself. Not at all.
So What Do You Do Now?
First — accept that you were given an unrealistic picture of what trading looks like. That is not your fault. It is what social media does. It sells you the highlight and hides the struggle.
Second — understand that real trading is a skill. A serious skill. One that takes time to build. Not 30 days. Not 90 days. Real time. Years of consistent learning and practice.
Third — if you are trading right now with money you cannot afford to lose — money that has pressure attached to it — you need to take a step back. Not because I want you to quit. Because I want you to survive long enough to actually learn this properly.
The traders who make it are not the ones who rushed. They are the ones who were honest with themselves about where they were — and patient enough to build the skill the right way.
That can be you. But only if you are honest. Only if you stop listening to the lies. And start listening to the truth.
